Humanitarian Specialist – Join RedR Roster

About the role

RedR Australia is seeking experienced humanitarian specialists to join its global roster. Successful candidates will be available for deployment to support UN agencies and partner organisations during natural hazards and disasters, primarily in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice, mentoring and capacity‑building support to government, NGOs, development partners and communities.
• Assist in the development, streamlining and harmonisation of policies, plans, guidelines and procedures.
• Support the integration of cross‑cutting issues such as protection, gender equality, disability inclusion and environmental considerations.
• Design and deliver training programmes and courses to strengthen local competencies.
• Coordinate information management and communication with key stakeholders during deployments.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of technical experience within UN agencies or other humanitarian organisations.
• Demonstrated experience in advising on policy, procedural development and stakeholder engagement.
• Fluency in French is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work in multicultural, high‑pressure environments.
