Hypercare Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Hypercare Service Technician to provide on‑site electrical and hydraulic support for our mining equipment. The role is based in the Democratic Republic of Congo and involves maintaining high reliability and availability of machines in an underground production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective actions on hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Support planning and preparation of maintenance tasks, document outcomes and root‑cause analyses.
• Conduct risk assessments, shift and incident reporting in line with SOPs.
• Monitor key performance indicators and ensure compliance with quality, safety and 5S standards.
• Communicate operational status and any deviations to the Site Manager and Service Operations.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / N3 technical qualification or equivalent.
• Section 13 Trade Certificate (Electrical, Millwright or Mechanical).
• Proficiency in English and French.
• At least 5 years of relevant mining experience in an underground production setting.
• Willingness to work shifts and stay away from home for the duration of the shift.
• Medically fit to work in a mining environment.
