IBDP Mathematics Teacher (MYP Physics) – Lubumbashi

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IBDP Mathematics teacher who can also deliver MYP Physics classes when needed. The role is based at a reputable international school in Lubumbashi, offering a dynamic, student‑centred learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics for the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP).
• Plan and deliver inquiry‑driven lessons aligned with IB standards.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations.
• Design assessments, assignments, and lab activities.
• Maintain accurate academic records and progress reports.
• Provide academic support and mentorship to students.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in school activities.
• Teach MYP Physics classes when assigned.
• Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a related subject.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Experience in an international school setting is preferred.
• Ability to teach MYP Physics is an added advantage.
