Infield Preach My Gospel Mentor

About the role

The Infield Preach My Gospel Mentor supports new missionaries during their first twelve weeks by delivering remote training, coaching, and feedback. This part‑time, temporary position works within the In‑field Missionary Learning and Development (MLD) division and follows an approved curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Report to a trainer or supervisor and attend weekly training meetings.
• Conduct one‑on‑one coaching, small‑group facilitation, and regular follow‑up sessions with missionaries via video calls.
• Plan and prepare curriculum‑based sessions that meet each missionary’s learning needs.
• Guide missionaries in planning, accounting for their learning, and preparing for practice and live sessions.
• Implement directions from Mentor Trainer, Manager, Regional Manager, and Senior Manager of In‑field MLD.
• Monitor and report progress, needs, and well‑being of assigned missionaries.
• Assist with additional duties at the Missionary Training Center (MTC) as required.

Required profile

• Returned missionary with less than three years of service or currently teaching at an MTC.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English and French.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Outstanding coaching, facilitation, and training abilities.
• Strong knowledge of the Preach My Gospel (PMG) curriculum.
• Self‑motivated, professional, and able to receive and apply feedback.

Required skills

• Ability to deliver remote training via video‑conferencing on a desktop or laptop.
