Infield Preach My Gospel Mentor

About the role

This part‑time, temporary position supports new missionaries during their first twelve weeks in the field. Working remotely, the In‑Field Mentor applies the Preach My Gospel curriculum and other missionary resources to help missionaries develop faith, skills, and confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one coaching, small‑group facilitation, and regular follow‑up sessions via video calls.
• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned training sessions that meet individual missionary needs.
• Guide missionaries in tracking their learning progress and preparing for practice and live sessions.
• Implement directions from Mentor Trainers, Managers, and Senior Managers of In‑Field MLD.
• Attend weekly training meetings and provide status reports on assigned tasks.
• Support missionary well‑being and may assist with additional duties at the Missionary Training Center.

Required profile

• Returned missionary of less than three years or current MTC teacher (exception for language needs).
• High proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong coaching, facilitation, and training abilities.
• Knowledge of the Preach My Gospel program.
• Ability to conduct remote training via video conferencing on a desktop or laptop.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Self‑motivated, receptive to feedback, and able to work independently.
