About the role

The Information Coordination Mentor will join the Situational Awareness Team working on the Upemba landscape. The role focuses on turning dispersed observations from community scouts and park rangers into structured, actionable information that supports baseline situational awareness, pattern identification, and preventive interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Situational Awareness Team for the Upemba landscape.
• Collect and transform observations from community scouts and park rangers into structured, actionable information.
• Maintain and update the information database used for baseline situational awareness.
• Identify patterns and trends from the data to inform preventive interventions.
• Prepare concise reports and visual summaries for management and partners.

Required profile

• Experience handling field‑based environmental observations.
• Ability to work closely with community scouts, rangers and conservation partners.
• Strong analytical mindset for pattern identification and situational awareness.
