Logistic Officer – Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention

About the role

PATH is seeking a Logistic Officer to support a pilot implementation of Perennial Malaria Chemoprevention in Kisantu, Democratic Republic of Congo. The role will manage procurement, supply‑chain, office, fleet and warehousing activities, working closely with project administrators and managers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit procurement documentation for office supplies and equipment in accordance with PATH policies.
• Assemble payment dossiers including delivery notes, packing lists, original invoices and payment requests.
• Oversee office space maintenance, inventory, assets and refurbishment.
• Manage project vehicles, fuel usage and log‑books, ensuring compliance with organisational guidelines.
• Coordinate safe and efficient transport of pharmaceuticals from the central drug repository to health zones and facilities.
• Collaborate with district health authorities and supply‑chain focal points to store drugs securely, conduct monthly physical inventories and report losses.
• Maintain up‑to‑date asset registers and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Senior Project Administrator.

Required profile

• Strong interest or background in global health and public‑health programmes.
• Highly motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
