National Logistics Supervisor

About the role

Helios Towers is seeking a National Logistics Supervisor to manage the movement of telecom infrastructure materials across the Democratic Republic of Congo. You will coordinate end‑to‑end logistics, ensuring safe and timely delivery while complying with company procedures and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation of equipment, spare parts and site supplies from warehouses, ports and suppliers to project sites.
• Select appropriate transport modes (trucks, low‑bed trailers, boats, etc.) based on cargo, site accessibility and priorities.
• Monitor shipments from dispatch to delivery and maintain communication with transporters, warehouse teams and project stakeholders.
• Assess routes for road conditions, weather, bridge limits, security risks and develop contingency plans.
• Align deliveries with rollout schedules, maintenance activities and emergency requirements.
• Verify that dispatched items match bills of quantities, packing lists and delivery notes; ensure proof of delivery is completed.
• Maintain customs compliance and transport documentation for every shipment.
• Validate picking, packing, labeling, loading plans and safe handling of high‑value equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and coordinating transportation of materials in challenging environments.
• Familiarity with customs procedures and transport regulations.
• Ability to evaluate route constraints and implement contingency solutions.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and compliance.
