Operational Information Management & Reports Consultant

About the role

The Operational Information Management & Reports Consultant will lead, oversee and coordinate all Operational Information Management (OIM) and Performance Reporting (PR) activities. This role ensures a standard and consistent operating picture of WFP operations, enabling informed and timely decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems and tools that support effective OIM, performance reporting and inter‑agency information management in line with WFP and UN policies.
• Provide technical advice, governance and oversight to regional or country offices on integrating OIM & PR policies into existing systems.
• Drive quality, consistency and standardisation of information management and performance reporting across WFP.
• Oversee and approve information collected from media, internal and external sources to maximise data flow and operational awareness.
• Facilitate exchange of information between functional area networks to support humanitarian and operational decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading OIM and performance reporting functions in a humanitarian or UN context.
• Strong understanding of UN/WFP policies, data governance and information management standards.
• Ability to advise senior managers and coordinate small teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights.
