Operations Assistant – Telecom Installation

About the role

Intelinet is looking for a motivated Operations Assistant to support the installation and service of communications infrastructure. The role involves working on voice, data, CATV and low‑voltage (LV) systems for a variety of client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test and commission voice, data and CATV equipment on customer sites.
• Perform cabling and low‑voltage system installations according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with lead technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and update project records.
• Provide on‑call support and adapt to day or night shift requirements as needed.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation.
• Reliable driving record and ability to pass background screening.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and find practical solutions.

Required skills

• Experience with voice, data, CATV and LV systems.
• Industry certifications such as BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Belden or Corning (highly desired).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (email, spreadsheets, Word).
