Operations Training Regional Lead

About the role

The Operations Training Regional Lead will set the foundation for training objectives in the DRC, ensuring high‑quality support for the Agent Network as Wave expands across Bandundu and Kongo Central.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and define regional training requirements based on country strategy and agent performance data.
• Lead translation of training materials into English and French, and assist with vocal and video recordings.
• Plan, deliver, and facilitate both face‑to‑face and remote training sessions, including agent visits and rollout coordination.
• Manage training administration across Slack channels, WhatsApp groups, and other communication tools, and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Drive the transition from in‑person to digital training and ensure continuous improvement of OKRs, e‑learning, and key skill targets.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, with good command of local languages.
• At least 5 years of experience managing training or an agent network, preferably in a learning & development context.
• Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize multiple projects, and work independently in field environments.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital training tools such as Google Sheets and Slack for content delivery and administration.
• Strong public speaking and group training facilitation abilities.
• Basic data analysis to measure training ROI and identify operational gaps.
