Operations Training Regional Lead

About the role

The Operations Training Regional Lead will drive strategic planning and supervision of all training activities as Wave expands into the DRC. This role sets the foundation for training objectives and ensures high‑quality support for the Agent Network across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and define regional training requirements based on country strategy and agent performance data.
• Lead translation of training materials into English and French, and adapt content using observations and data‑driven insights.
• Plan, deliver, and facilitate individual and group training sessions, both onsite and remotely, including agent visits to address action items.
• Coordinate regional rollouts with territory leads and manage training administration via Slack, WhatsApp, and other channels.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, gather feedback, and implement continuous improvement measures to meet OKRs and digital learning targets.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English with a good command of local languages.
• At least 5 years of experience managing training programs or an agent network, preferably in a learning & development or corporate setting.
• Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize multiple projects, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Strong analytical skills to measure training ROI and identify operational gaps.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital training tools such as Google Sheets.
• Experience using Slack for content delivery and training administration.
