Partnerships Specialist (6‑month contract) – Kinshasa

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Partnerships Specialist to support its emergency response in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Working under the Partnerships Manager, you will help scale up resource mobilisation, re‑programming and reporting to ensure an effective humanitarian response for children and vulnerable communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and submit high‑quality proposals and manage grant lifecycles.
• Engage donors from public and private sectors to secure funding.
• Provide strategic advice and technical guidance on fundraising initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to align resources with programme needs.
• Support communication efforts to promote UNICEF’s partnership opportunities.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (e.g., Master’s) in a relevant field.
• Experience in partnership development, resource mobilisation or humanitarian fundraising.
• Strong understanding of donor engagement and grant management processes.
• Ability to work in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
