Pediatrician for Ebola Emergency Response

About the role

Provide outpatient and inpatient paediatric care in an Ebola emergency response setting in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, following MSF protocols and universal hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver integrated newborn and paediatric care across emergency, OPD and IPD services, including malnutrition cases.
• Collaborate with maternity and other hospital departments, ensure protocol compliance, and improve infection control.
• Lead strategy adjustments for newborn and paediatric care, supervise training, and review complex cases.
• Monitor patient evolution, manage admissions, transfers, discharges and maintain equipment and medication supplies.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor diploma from a recognized university; paediatrics qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a paediatric doctor in a hospital setting.
• French proficiency at least B2 level.
• Available for deployment within 3 months for a 12‑16 week rotation.
