About the role

The American University of Lubumbashi (AUK) is seeking qualified professors and administrative staff to join its expanding academic community in Lubumbashi. Candidates will support a range of faculties organized under the LMD system, contributing to teaching, research, and campus operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses across various disciplines such as economics, computer science, engineering, political science, hospitality, and logistics.
• Develop curricula, lesson plans, and assessment materials aligned with university standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and research initiatives.
• Provide administrative support, including student services, record keeping, and office management.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to maintain a high‑quality learning environment.

Required profile

• Relevant academic degree (Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate) in the field of application.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level or equivalent professional expertise.
• Strong communication skills in French; English proficiency is an advantage.
