Program Close Out Coordinator – FARM Programme

About the role

The FARM Program Close Out Coordinator will lead the finalisation of Mercy Corps’ FARM programme in North Kivu, ensuring all donor and organisational close‑out requirements are met. Working closely with the Programme Director and senior support functions, the coordinator will manage the 90‑day close‑out plan and guarantee a complete, compliant programme file.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the 90‑day close‑out plan, convening regular planning meetings and updating timelines.
• Coordinate with the Programme Director, Component Managers, HR, Operations, Finance and Compliance teams to ensure all close‑out activities are completed on schedule.
• Prepare and submit the final programme file, including financial reconciliation, reporting, and documentation of outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Mercy Corps internal standards and donor (Kingdom of the Netherlands) requirements.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and hand‑over to relevant stakeholders for post‑programme sustainability.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing programme close‑out or closure in a humanitarian or development context.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, reporting standards and programme documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal departments and external partners.
• Excellent organisational and monitoring skills to track progress against the close‑out plan.
