Project Manager – DRC

About the role

The Belgian Red Cross‑Flanders is seeking a Project Manager in the Democratic Republic of Congo who will also act as Country Representative, overseeing partnerships and projects focused on first aid, blood services and emergency disaster response.

Key responsibilities

• Overall operational and financial management of first‑aid, blood‑service and disaster‑response projects.
• Develop and maintain a security framework for the DRC and manage any security incidents.
• Ensure implementation of RKV’s integrity framework and support related investigations.
• Facilitate professional collaboration between RKV and the Red Cross Society of the DRC.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in science, economics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of project‑management experience, preferably in results‑oriented or humanitarian settings.
• Fluency in French, English and Dutch (spoken and written).
• Strong interest in medical sciences, first aid, blood banking or data management.
