Project Manager – FAM Split & Sulphide Processing

About the role

Kamoto Copper Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the FAM Split & Sulphide Processing capital project. Reporting to the General Manager – Capital Projects, you will be responsible for both the study phase and the execution phase, ensuring the project meets approved scope, schedule, and cost while maintaining the highest safety and technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project studies from concept through feasibility and definition, delivering robust scopes, design criteria, and business cases.
• Drive value‑engineering, trade‑off analyses, and option selection to optimise capital efficiency.
• Manage EPCM/EPC contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and hand‑over.
• Maintain project controls, including scheduling, cost control, risk monitoring, and reporting.
• Champion a zero‑harm safety culture and ensure compliance with SHEC standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale industrial or mining capital projects.
• Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and interface with technical, operational, and commercial functions.
• Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills, with a focus on risk mitigation and value optimisation.
