Project Manager – Responsible Mining Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of client projects within SLR Better Mining, ensuring ethical and responsible mineral supply chains across African mining sites. You will translate field data and responsible sourcing requirements into well‑structured projects, robust analysis, and clear client outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Own full project lifecycle, delivering on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop, monitor and control detailed project budgets, forecasts and cost trackers.
• Allocate analysts and coordinate with in‑country teams to meet delivery requirements.
• Use project management tools (e.g., Asana) to plan workstreams, manage dependencies and track progress.
• Lead structured analysis of monitoring data, risk metrics and performance indicators, turning complex datasets into actionable insights.
• Produce high‑quality, client‑ready reports and presentations.

Required profile

• Professional experience in consulting or advisory roles.
• Proven ability to manage complex workstreams, budgets and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong judgment, leadership and accountability for project outcomes.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
