Regional Manager – DRC & Republic of Congo

About the role

The Regional Manager for the Partnerships for Forests 2 (P4F2) Component 3 will lead the implementation of the programme in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo. Based in Kinshasa, you will act as Palladium’s local representative, overseeing strategy, workplans, budgets and ensuring delivery of programme objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the regional portfolio, including strategy development, workplan execution and budget oversight.
• Serve as the primary liaison with FCDO, national governments, private sector partners, NGOs and community organisations.
• Lead and develop the regional team, coordinating multiple workstreams to achieve programme outcomes.
• Report formally to the Project Director in the UK and maintain regular communication with the Team Leader.
• Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager for Cameroon & Gabon and the global P4F team.
• Ensure compliance with programme standards, monitoring and evaluation frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale development or environmental programmes in Central Africa.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with governments, donors and civil‑society organisations.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets effectively.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
