Senior Accountant – OTC & Margin Accounting

About the role
The Senior Accountant for OTC & Margin Accounting will lead the financial reporting function for M-Pesa Finance, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant submissions across multiple reporting frameworks.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate IFRS and OHADA reporting submissions and maintain related templates.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis with clear commentary.
- Provide audit support documentation and ensure adherence to group reporting deadlines.
- Maintain internal controls and reporting templates to guarantee data integrity.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification preferred.
- Proven experience in senior accounting roles, preferably within a financial services environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to produce accurate financial commentary.
Required skills
- IFRS reporting standards.
- OHADA reporting standards.
