Senior Permanent Controller – IT, Cybersecurity & Data Analytics

About the role

The Senior Permanent Controller will design, monitor and continuously improve a permanent control framework covering IT processes, cybersecurity, fraud risk and data‑driven monitoring. The role provides independent oversight, validates control effectiveness and ensures timely remediation of weaknesses.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the IT permanent control plan and control library; perform design reviews and effectiveness testing of IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Oversee permanent cybersecurity controls, including vulnerability management, endpoint and network security, firewall rules, data security and incident response.
• Manage a permanent fraud control framework, monitor transaction monitoring rules, and conduct thematic reviews of emerging fraud typologies.
• Build and maintain analytics‑based continuous monitoring controls for IT, security and fraud, defining data requirements and validation checks.
• Execute permanent control testing, issue observations with risk ratings, and produce monthly/quarterly control reports for senior management.
• Contribute to the definition and updating of IT security policies, access standards, change‑management standards and fraud risk management procedures.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in IT governance, cybersecurity, fraud risk management and data analytics.
• Proven ability to design, test and improve permanent control frameworks and to provide independent oversight.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in continuous control monitoring and issue escalation.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with control owners, senior management and governance forums.
