Senior Program Manager – Immunization Project (DRC)

About the role

VillageReach is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a large grant focused on improving immunization coverage in Lomami province, DRC. The role combines project management, grant administration, and coordination with government, partners, and internal technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated workplan covering deliverables, milestones, risks and dependencies across supply chain, service delivery, data systems and M&E workstreams.
• Establish project governance, meeting cadence, decision‑making processes and action tracking for internal and external coordination bodies.
• Coordinate closely with the Immunization Lead on donor relationship management, technical leadership, budget oversight and strategic decisions.
• Manage grant milestones, ensure timely execution of deliverables and maintain a centralized repository for project documentation and lessons learned.
• Oversee financial management, including budget tracking, forecasting, expense approvals and preparation of donor reports.
• Collaborate with the Communications team to produce briefs, case studies, webinars and other knowledge‑sharing products.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑disciplinary health programs in low‑resource settings.
• Experience in grant administration, budgeting and donor reporting.

Required skills

• Project management (including use of project management software and tools).
• Budget management and financial tracking.
