Site Manager – Protected Area HQ (DRC)

About the role

WCS is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at the headquarters of Kahuzi Biega National Park in South Kivu, DRC. The role ensures that logistics, procurement, HR, infrastructure and maintenance functions work together seamlessly to support programmatic activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site logistics, coordinate procurement and ensure compliance with supply movement.
• Oversee HR functions, support recruitment, training and employee relations.
• Guide the Infrastructure Manager in planning, developing and maintaining park facilities.
• Maintain all site amenities, equipment and transportation fleet in optimal condition.
• Collect, consolidate and share operational data for donor reporting and proposals.

Required profile

• Proven management experience in large, complex projects operating in remote or insecure environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solution‑oriented approach with ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
