Specialist New Product Development

About the role

Vodacom DRC is looking for a Specialist in New Product Development to coordinate, analyse and support the end‑to‑end technical implementation of new telecom products, services, tariffs and campaigns. The role bridges business and technology teams, ensuring that approved initiatives are technically assessed, tested, and released in line with governance and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of products, services, bundles, campaigns and enhancements from concept to production.
• Conduct Technical Impact Assessments, coordinate solution evaluations and manage SIT/UAT testing.
• Oversee deployment and release activities to guarantee service readiness and operational stability.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement, project governance, documentation and delivery reporting.
• Identify and drive process improvements to accelerate time‑to‑market.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of product development and delivery within a telecom environment.
• Experience managing cross‑functional projects and adhering to governance frameworks.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and test plans.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing between business and technology teams.
