Team Leader – EduFinance DRC Assessment Study

About the role

SoCha is seeking a Team Leader to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the Catalyze EduFinance DRC initiative. The assignment will support USAID’s Mission Strategic Support Program by evaluating the program’s impact on financing and school management practices for low‑income families and non‑state schools in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to design and implement qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Analyze existing market assessments, quarterly reports, and pause‑and‑reflect documents.
• Identify gaps in project design and implementation that inform future school‑funding programs.
• Produce detailed findings, recommendations, and presentation materials for USAID and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with financial institutions, school administrators, and teachers to gather primary data.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the education sector, particularly in financing and school management.
• Proven track record conducting large‑scale qualitative and quantitative studies.
• Strong analytical and report‑writing abilities.
• Experience working with USAID or other bilateral/multilateral donors is preferred.
