Technology Assurance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Technology Assurance Specialist to ensure our technology systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with industry standards. You will work closely with IT, business units, and external partners to identify risks, implement controls, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and audits of technology systems and processes.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for effective risk management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Business, Privacy, Cyber, Technology) to meet quality assurance requirements.
• Monitor and report on key metrics related to technology assurance and cyber‑security compliance.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of assurance practices.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and cybersecurity trends.
• Assist in developing incident response plans and participate in post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in technology assurance, risk management, or a similar role.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, ISO 27005 Risk Manager.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, ITIL, COBIT, NIST frameworks.
• Understanding of GDPR and other privacy regulations.
• Proficiency in conducting audits, assessments, and risk evaluations.
