Warehouse Operator

About the role

The Warehouse Operator plays a crucial part in maintaining the flow, accuracy, and integrity of inventory for Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC. Working in the Lubumbashi workshop and warehouse, you will receive, store, handle, and issue materials while upholding high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately receive goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
• Safely bin, store, and organise inventory in designated locations according to system requirements.
• Pick, pack, and issue materials in the correct quantities and condition to support workshop and customer needs.
• Facilitate stock transfers between warehouses, stockrooms, and operational areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient material handling.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all receiving, issuing, and inventory documentation.
• Identify and report stock shortages, damaged goods, or inventory variances immediately.
• Participate in weekly cycle counts, stock verifications, bin audits, and support quarterly and annual stocktaking activities.
• Assist with Goods Received Note (GRN) reconciliations, invoice follow‑up, and Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ/EHS) policies and contribute to a clean, organised workplace.

Required profile

• Congolese (DRC) citizen.
• Certificate or Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Proven experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role.

• Safe loading and unloading of materials.
