Airport Manager – Kinshasa

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced Airport Manager to lead operations at its Kinshasa hub. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and customer‑focused handling of passengers and aircraft while meeting all regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all passenger and aircraft handling operations on a shift basis, ensuring adherence to checklists, brand requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Participate in daily operations, working shifts that may include weekends and public holidays.
• Manage safety and security outcomes through promotion, hazard identification, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
• Coordinate VIP, PRM, and special‑category guest requirements, including flight editing and special services.
• Maintain and rehearse emergency response, disruption, diversion, and business continuity plans.
• Monitor on‑time performance, report delays, and implement mitigation actions.
• Drive ancillary sales performance, promotional activities, and process compliance.
• Ensure delivery of customer‑service standards and report on related KPIs.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent industry experience.
• 7‑9 years of leadership or senior management experience in aviation or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead large, multicultural teams in a high‑pressure, shift‑based environment.
• Experience with global best practices and exposure to regional or international operations.
