Digital Automation Engineer

About the role

The Digital Automation Engineer will join UPS APAC Supply Chain Solutions' Digital Automation Engineering team to drive digital and intelligent automation across operations. You will design, build, and deploy scalable workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and the broader Power Platform, shaping how AI and automation transform supply‑chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies, standardization gaps, and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with process owners to redesign workflows for digital automation readiness.
• Translate business requirements into automation logic, solution architectures, and agentic workflow designs.
• Build modular, scalable automations using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Platform, ensuring robustness and reusability.
• Configure, test, and deploy cloud and desktop flows, lead UAT cycles, and manage production deployment with change‑control practices.
• Produce process maps, PDD/SDD documentation, UAT reports, and user guides while ensuring compliance with governance, security, and audit requirements.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to enable smooth adoption, conduct demos, and provide knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Explore emerging capabilities such as AI‑assisted automation, agentic workflows, and Power Apps integration.
