Digital Impact Officer (P-2, 6‑month temporary appointment)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Digital Impact Officer for a six‑month temporary appointment in Bunia, Democratic Republic of Congo. The incumbent will support ICT operations and digital services that enable UNICEF’s emergency response and community programmes during the ongoing Ebola outbreak.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation of ICT infrastructure and accessibility to digital services.
• Provide technical support for operational and administrative tasks.
• Assist in the delivery of programme results through ICT solutions.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and protect digital assets.

Required profile

• University degree in computer science, IT management, software engineering or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in information technology management within a large international organization.
• Ability to work in a challenging, insecure environment and adapt to evolving humanitarian contexts.
