Duty Supervisor – Airport Operations

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking a Duty Supervisor to lead airport operations on a shift basis in Kinshasa. You will be responsible for coordinating passenger and aircraft handling, ensuring safety, security, and service standards are met while delivering a seamless travel experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all passenger and aircraft handling activities during assigned shifts, adhering to checklists, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage safety and security outcomes, conduct hazard identification, and report incidents.
• Coordinate VIP, MAAS, PRM, and special guest requirements, including flight editing and special handling.
• Liaise with Guest Control, Network Control, and SOC to mitigate operational disruptions.
• Execute emergency response, disruption planning, and business continuity procedures.
• Drive on‑time performance, monitor delays, and provide accurate reporting.
• Promote and monitor ancillary sales, ensuring compliance with targets.
• Maintain customer service standards and report on related KPIs.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent industry experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in service, hospitality, airline, or retail environments, preferably with aviation knowledge.
• Proven supervisory experience in a high‑pressure, multicultural shift setting.
• Strong communication, decision‑making, and leadership abilities.
