Electromechanical Engineer – Food Production (Training in Lebanon, Africa Assignment)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electromechanical Engineer or Technician to join our industrial team supporting food production and processing lines. The successful candidate will complete a 2–3 month training program in Lebanon before being deployed to a factory in Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot food production machinery.
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial production lines.
• Diagnose and repair machine faults, breakdowns, and control panel issues.
• Maintain motors, gear motors, bearings, chains, conveyors, sensors, and pneumatic systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Assist with machine setup, commissioning, and production support to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work under pressure.
• Problem‑solving mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and accept an international assignment after training.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems.
• Industrial electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with control panels, contactors, relays, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and power transmission.
• Familiarity with sensors, basic automation, mechanical assembly, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of chains, conveyors, pneumatic systems, preventive and corrective maintenance.
