Financial Management Analyst – Kenge Cluster

About the role

The Financial Management Analyst will support the Kenge cluster by overseeing financial performance, ensuring accurate reporting, and safeguarding compliance with donor and organisational requirements. This role combines budget coordination, variance analysis, and field‑level financial support to drive effective resource utilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor burn rates across all cluster projects, identify spending trends and flag risks to senior analysts.
• Produce detailed project financial reports and consolidate them into cluster‑level summaries for internal and donor use.
• Prepare and present Field Financial Reports, ensuring clarity and responsiveness to stakeholder queries.
• Lead budget preparation, consolidate inputs from field teams and upload approved budgets into Horizon and IMPAQ systems.
• Upload invoices into Provision, support mobile‑money disbursements and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Conduct regular field visits to verify financial implementation, build capacity and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain and update the cluster asset register, perform asset verification and support audits.
• Implement cost allocation methodologies for shared services and monitor cost recovery.

Required profile

• Experience in financial monitoring, reporting and budget coordination within an international or humanitarian context.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Willingness to travel to field locations for regular financial oversight.
