Financial Management Analyst – Kolwezi Cluster

About the role

The Financial Management Analyst will support the Kolwezi cluster by overseeing financial performance, ensuring accurate reporting, and assisting field teams with budget and cash management. This role is essential for maintaining financial transparency and compliance across multiple humanitarian projects.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor burn rates across all cluster projects, identify trends, and flag risks to senior analysts.
• Produce detailed project financial reports and consolidate them into cluster‑level summaries for internal and donor use.
• Prepare and present Field Financial Reports, ensuring clarity and responsiveness to stakeholder queries.
• Conduct variance analysis, investigate deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead budget coordination, consolidate inputs, upload approved budgets into Horizon and IMPAQ, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Process invoices in Provision, support mobile‑money disbursements, and update the asset register in collaboration with Admin and SCM.
• Perform regular field visits to monitor financial implementation, build capacity, and resolve operational challenges.
• Implement cost allocation for shared services, maintain the cluster asset register, and support audits and disposals.

Required profile

• Experience in financial monitoring, reporting, and budget coordination within a multi‑project environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective measures.
• Familiarity with humanitarian or NGO financial processes and donor reporting requirements.
• Ability to travel to field locations and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Horizon financial system.
• Proficiency with IMPAQ budgeting system.
• Experience using Provision for invoice processing.
• Knowledge of mobile‑money platforms for disbursements.
