Human Resources Advisor – Talent Acquisition & Payroll

About the role

Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Advisor to support talent acquisition, payroll coordination and overall HR operations in Lubumbashi. The role bridges recruitment, payroll, HR administration and HRIS management, ensuring compliant and efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment: job ads, candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling and onboarding.
• Maintain candidate databases, monitor recruitment metrics and support employer‑branding initiatives.
• Prepare, validate and reconcile monthly payroll, review overtime, timesheets and respond to payroll queries.
• Liaise with Finance and external payroll service providers to guarantee accurate processing.
• Maintain confidential employee records, process HR transactions, and support benefits and insurance administration.
• Assist with onboarding documentation, employee movements and HR audit compliance.
• Manage employee data in Workday (or other HRIS), support organisational changes and resolve data‑quality issues.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual HR reports and analytics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management or a related field.
