Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Consultant – Ebola Response

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Consultant to support its Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) response in Bunia, DRC. Working under the Programme Support Unit Coordinator and the M&E Officer, the consultant will ensure high‑quality data collection, analysis, and reporting for multiple Ebola‑related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, review, and implementation of data collection tools, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
• Collect, clean, maintain, and analyze project data required for monitoring and evaluation.
• Coordinate and conduct field monitoring missions, preparing tools and documenting findings.
• Track project indicators, beneficiary data, and reporting schedules in line with donor and institutional requirements.
• Contribute to internal and external reporting, ensuring consistency and data quality across all EVD response interventions.

Required profile

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and data analysis for health or humanitarian projects.
• Ability to work closely with programme staff, the Ebola Emergency Coordinator, and other stakeholders.
• Familiarity with donor reporting requirements and indicator tracking.
