Global Recruitment Coordinator (Remote, 1-year contract)

About the role

GiveDirectly is seeking two Global Recruitment Coordinators to join its People team. In this remote, one‑year position you will help build a world‑class employee experience by managing the end‑to‑end hiring process and supporting People Operations for a global, mission‑driven organization.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source, attract and engage a diverse pipeline of high‑quality candidates.
• Review CVs, conduct interviews and coordinate interview schedules, acting as the first point of contact for candidates.
• Design, implement and continuously improve a streamlined talent‑acquisition process.
• Provide clear communication and support to hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring journey.
• Travel 1–2 times per year to an operational country for team retreats or field visits.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in recruitment (direct hiring experience required).
• Ability to work remotely while overlapping at least two hours with the New York time zone.
• Willingness to travel internationally once or twice a year.
• Preference for candidates based in one of GiveDirectly’s African operating countries.
• Legal right to work in the United States or United Kingdom (no visa sponsorship).
