AML & Compliance Analyst

About the role

The AML & Compliance Analyst supports the Manager of AML & CTF Compliance in building and maintaining a practical framework to detect and prevent money laundering, terrorism financing, proliferation financing and illegal wildlife trade activities. The role involves monitoring, investigation and ensuring compliance across customers, partners and internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and investigate potential money laundering, terrorism financing, proliferation financing and illegal wildlife trade activities.
• Conduct compliance reviews, screening, monitoring and deep investigations of alerts and transactions.
• Manage case lifecycle, SAR and ST register for escalated investigations.
• Perform KYC quality assurance, due‑diligence reviews and risk profiling for customers and partners.
• Monitor betting & gaming operators, M‑Pay services and back‑office activities.
• Support compliance training, AML project implementation and regulatory change monitoring.
• Maintain high‑risk partner registers and ensure effective risk‑based onboarding.
• Leverage automation tools such as RPA, Business Objects, AI and machine learning to improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (typically five‑year program) or at least three years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of AML, CTF, sanctions and financial crime regulations.
• Ability to work beyond normal hours and handle French and English communications.
