Chargé de suivi et évaluation

About the role

The Education Development Center (EDC) is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to support the USAID‑funded "Apprendre Tous Ensemble" (ATE) project in the Equateur province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Based in Mbandaka, the officer will work under the supervision of the Director of Monitoring & Evaluation and will be responsible for coordinating field‑level M&E activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct monitoring and evaluation activities across the project’s geographic scope (Equateur, Ituri, Tanganyika).
• Ensure proper use of monitoring tools and instruments by field actors and partners for regular data collection.
• Support the development and integration of M&E tools into all program components.
• Collect, process, and analyse monitoring data to produce timely reports.
• Collaborate with program managers and technical staff to refine data collection systems.

Required profile

• Proven ability to coordinate and lead M&E activities in field settings.
• Experience working with program managers and technical teams to develop and integrate monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical skills for data collection, processing, and reporting.
• Fluency in French; knowledge of local contexts in Equateur, Ituri, or Tanganyika is advantageous.
