MEAL Manager

About the role

The MEAL Manager will lead Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities for World Vision’s health and nutrition programmes in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Reporting to senior programme staff, the role ensures data quality, impact measurement and continuous improvement across multiple provinces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement MEAL frameworks and tools for health, nutrition and child protection interventions.
• Oversee data collection, verification and analysis to produce timely reports for donors and partners.
• Coordinate with provincial health authorities and community organisations to ensure compliance with national and international standards.
• Provide technical guidance and capacity‑building to field staff on monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Lead learning activities, including lessons‑learned workshops and knowledge sharing across programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEAL functions within humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong understanding of health, nutrition and child protection programmes.
• Ability to work in challenging, remote environments and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
