Monitoring & Evaluation Consultant – Ebola Response

About the role

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Consultant will support IOM’s Ebola Virus Disease response in Bunia, DRC. Working under the Programme Support Unit Coordinator and the M&E Officer, the consultant will ensure high‑quality data collection, analysis and reporting across multiple Ebola‑related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify and analyse field data related to Ebola response activities.
• Track and report on key performance indicators, ensuring consistency across projects.
• Prepare monitoring products and reports for the Ebola Emergency Coordinator.
• Coordinate with the Programme Support Unit, M&E Officer and Ebola Emergency Coordinator to maintain data quality.
• Support the development of monitoring tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, data analysis and field monitoring within health or humanitarian contexts.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams.
