Programme Analyst – Sexual & Reproductive Health (Goma)

About the role

The Programme Analyst on Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) will be based in UNFPA’s Democratic Republic of the Congo Country Office in Goma. Reporting to the Programme Specialist SRH in Emergencies, the analyst will contribute substantively to the design, implementation and evaluation of SRH components of the country programme.

Key responsibilities

• Provide substantive inputs to project formulation, evaluation and joint programming initiatives at provincial and national levels.
• Operationalise robust results‑based management and monitoring mechanisms across development and humanitarian contexts.
• Analyse political, social and economic dynamics to generate evidence‑based insights that shape project strategies, policy frameworks and inter‑agency UN initiatives.
• Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of transformative SRH interventions, ensuring compliance with UNFPA standards.
• Build sustainable capacity and drive high‑impact health outcomes through results‑based management.

Required profile

• Demonstrated strategic leadership and technical expertise in SRH programme analysis.
• Ability to work within a complex Country Office environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in generating evidence‑based insights for policy and programme development.
• Commitment to UNFPA’s mission and adherence to international norms and standards.
