Quantity Surveyor – Power & Energy Projects

About the role

WSP Africa is looking for a commercially‑focused Quantity Surveyor to join its Power & Energy Project Management Office. The role will support large‑scale power, transmission, distribution, renewable energy and infrastructure projects for South African and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project costs, budgets and forecasts.
• Provide commercial and financial reporting support to project managers.
• Administer contracts, variations, claims and payment processes.
• Monitor project performance and implement cost‑control measures.
• Assist procurement activities and evaluate tender submissions.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of complex power and energy projects.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cost management and contract administration.
• Experience on engineering, infrastructure, energy, utilities or construction projects.
• Strong reporting and analytical capabilities.
• Preferably registered with SACQSP.
