Ramp Operator

About the role

As a Ramp Operator you will be the key link in the flow of freight at UPS, handling the movement of cargo on and off aircraft and trucks. You will work in a fast‑paced environment ensuring that shipments are processed safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from aircraft, trucks and containers.
• Receive, scan, sort and stock items according to UPS procedures.
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or pallet jacks when required.
• Perform air‑side activities while adhering to all safety regulations.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors to support ramp operations.

Required profile

• Ability to work physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to follow strict safety and security protocols.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings or evenings.

Required skills

• Heavy machinery operation (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
