Sales Specialist – Heavy Equipment

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Specialist to join Zoomlion’s Heavy Equipment division operating in Kalemie, Matadi and Manono. The role focuses on promoting and selling construction machinery such as mobile cranes, tower cranes and concrete equipment, supporting the company’s global expansion in emerging markets.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales targets, pipeline and collection goals.
- Prospect, qualify and generate new leads for the mobile crane, tower crane and concrete machinery product lines.
- Contact prospective clients through calls and on‑site visits to present Zoomlion’s solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
- Record and update all activities in the CRM system.
- Monitor competitors, new products and market conditions to identify customer needs.
- Prepare and submit weekly performance reports to the line manager.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.
Required profile
- Minimum secondary education (grade 12); tertiary education is a plus.
- Proven sales experience in the engineering machinery or heavy‑equipment sector, preferably with mobile or tower cranes and concrete machinery.
- Technical aptitude to understand machinery specifications and applications.
- Good knowledge of the construction or heavy‑equipment industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

- CRM usage for tracking sales activities.
