Business Development, Partnership & Reporting Manager (Kinshasa)

About the role

The Business Development, Partnership & Reporting Manager will support Mercy Corps’ Country Director and Director of Programs in shaping and executing strategic fundraising and partnership initiatives across the Democratic Republic of Congo. Based in Kinshasa, the role ensures new programmes align with Mercy Corps’ strategic priorities while maintaining high standards of donor compliance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of new initiatives that align with Mercy Corps’ programmatic strategy.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with donors, NGOs, and private sector actors.
• Ensure donor representation, compliance, and high‑quality reporting for all active and future programmes.
• Collaborate with the Country Director, Director of Programs, senior management, program leads, field teams, communications, support services, and HQ/regional teams.
• Provide oversight and technical support for fundraising proposals and donor reporting processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, partnership management, and fundraising within an international development or humanitarian context.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance requirements and reporting standards.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
