Technical Program Manager – MNCH & Protection

About the role

The Technical Program Manager will provide overall technical leadership and coordination for IMA World Health's integrated maternal, newborn, child health (MNCH) and protection program in conflict‑affected North Kivu. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the role supervises the MNCH Health Services Officer and the Protection Program Officer to ensure coherent implementation across health and protection services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical oversight for MNCH, GBV/CP, IPC, and outreach interventions across six facilities and multiple IDP sites.
• Ensure alignment with national guidelines, donor requirements, and IMA technical standards.
• Lead integrated planning sessions and harmonize workplans across MNCH, Protection, MERL, and facility teams.
• Supervise technical officers, offering coaching, field mentoring, and performance oversight.
• Oversee quality assurance, ensuring BEmONC, CMR, PSS, IPC, and safe‑space interventions meet SOPs and survivor‑centered principles.
• Collaborate with the MERL Manager to guarantee high‑quality data collection, indicator tracking, and evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Represent the program in technical coordination forums such as the Health Cluster and GBV Sub‑Cluster.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical leadership for health and protection programs in humanitarian settings.
• Experience supervising field staff and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of national health standards, donor compliance, and protection guidelines.
• Ability to adapt technical strategies to evolving conflict dynamics and population movements.
