Administrative Associate – UNICEF Ebola Response (6 months)

About the role

The Administrative Associate will support UNICEF’s emergency Ebola response in Bunia, DRC. Working under the supervision of the Administration and Finance Specialist, the incumbent will ensure smooth administrative and financial operations for a six‑month temporary appointment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor budgets and expenditures, ensuring compliance with UNICEF rules and regulations.
• Assist in budget preparation, revisions, monitoring and financial closure activities.
• Maintain records, trackers and control systems for budget and administrative monitoring.
• Process transactions in the UNICEF VISION system for grants, travel, procurement and invoices.
• Provide operational, procurement, travel and logistics support to enable rapid implementation of response activities.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of UNICEF administrative procedures, processes and policies.
• Ability to work in a complex, insecure environment with cultural sensitivity.
• Excellent organizational and record‑keeping skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
