Chief of Staff – DRC Country Manager

About the role

BURN is looking for a proactive Chief of Staff to partner with the DRC Country Manager. The role goes beyond traditional administrative support, acting as a hands‑on driver of strategic projects, commercial performance and operational efficiency across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Country Manager to develop, track and adjust short‑ and long‑term country plans aligned with BURN’s commercial strategy.
• Conduct research, design projects and provide thought partnership to inform strategic decisions.
• Analyse product, project and activity performance, identifying revenue‑growth and efficiency opportunities.
• Lead end‑to‑end execution of key country initiatives, managing timelines, budgets, KPIs and cross‑functional accountability.
• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives, streamline processes and ensure clear ownership across departments.
• Manage the executive calendar, travel, meeting logistics and follow‑up on action items.
• Serve as liaison between the Country Manager, internal teams and external partners, representing the manager in selected meetings and delivering concise summaries.
• Draft, proofread and format presentations, reports and communications for internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in project management, commercial operations or business operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple high‑impact projects simultaneously.
